Auto Enrolment – Non-Eligible Jobholder

• A Non-Eligible Jobholder is not automatically enrolled into the Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme.
• They can opt-in to the pension scheme, and if this occurs they must make employee contributions at the minimum level, and the employer must also make contributions at the employers minimum level.

Once you have categorised your member of staff as a Non-Eligible Jobholder you need to notify them of this by letter. They can then opt-in to the scheme if they wish.
